Longtime NJBIA member Saiber LLC on Tuesday announced the addition of Marc D. Freedman as member and Steven M. Friedland as counsel in a move that reinforces the Florham Park law Services and Employment practices.

This tactical expansion reflects Saiber's commitment to enhancing its business and M&An abilities, with a particular focus on industry-specific options for customers in the staffing sector and beyond.

Both attorneys sign up with Saiber from the store firm Freedman & Friedland LLC of Hasbrouck Heights, bringing decades of experience in business and work law, especially within the staffing industry.

Freedman, a skilled business lawyer, joins the firm's Business Services group as a member. With a substantial background in work and business law and mergers & acquisitions, he brings deep understanding of the legal and business issues impacting staffing companies and other markets.

He previously served as general counsel and senior executive officer for one of the largest public business in the temporary work sector. His wide-ranging experience consists of business acquisitions, securities compliance, labor relations, protecting companies in discrimination matters and class actions, restrictive covenant litigation, threat management, and strategic consulting for senior executives.

Freedman is presently basic counsel to the New Jersey Staffing Alliance and formerly served in similar roles with national staffing associations.

Friedland will sign up with the firm as counsel in the Litigation practice group. With a focus on work law and litigation, he brings over twenty years of experience defending employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour matters before federal and state courts and administrative companies, as well as representing organizations in industrial litigation.

He also regularly counsels customers on everyday workplace matters and drafts numerous arrangements, policies, and compliance materials. Previously, Friedland practiced employment and labor law at two companies with a nationwide existence.
